The City of San Marcos is in the process of developing a five-year transit plan. The plan will detail the actions required to coordinate San Marcos Transit and Texas State University Bobcat Shuttle into one transit system that better serves the entire community. Stakeholder and community meetings will be held throughout the development of the strategic plan to get public input.
The second round of informational pop-up community meetings was held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, on the Texas State University quad from 8 am to 11 am and at the San Marcos Station, 338 S. Guadalupe St. from 1 pm to 3 pm. A formal public meeting was held Tuesday, January 28, 2020, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E.
