The City of San Marcos has closed all public facilities to help ensure that COVID-19 case counts remain low among City staff and within the overall community.
Library curbside service will continue to be available from Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Computer lab services will be available in the library lobby Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Masks are required to enter and remain in the lobby for everyone over ten years of age. Children without a mask must remain next to parent/adult at all times to maintain distance from other customers.
To use the library’s curbside service place items on hold through the library catalog (sanmarcostx.gov/Library), via email at email@example.com, or by calling 512-393-8200. You may request items by title, subject, or grade level. Items will be collected by library staff and you will be notified via email or telephone when items are ready to be picked up. When you arrive to pick up materials, call 512-393-8200 and staff will verify your identification, check out materials, and place them in your trunk at the back door of the new building, just past the drive-thru drop off area.
Information services by phone, text, and email are available Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. You can reach the library at 512-393-8200 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
