[ARCHIVED] Family Fun at Farmer Fred’s Harvest Fall Carnival Oct. 25

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Farmer Fred’s Harvest Fall Carnival on Friday, Oct. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at City Park, 170 Charles Austin Drive.

Farmer Fred’s Harvest Fall Carnival is family-friendly, free and open to the public. Attendees can participate in games, a variety of activities and a children’s costume contest. A haunted hayride, train rides and concessions will be available for a small fee.

The children’s costume contest registration will be held at the basketball court beginning at 6:00 p.m. The judging times are divided into age groups as follows:

  • 3 and under – 7 p.m.
  • 4 to 6 years old – 7:30 p.m.
  • 7 to 9 years old – 8 p.m.
  • 10 to 12 years old – 8:30 p.m.
