Long-Term Care Planning

Planning for the possibility of long-term care gives you time to learn about services in your community and what they cost. This program will explain the four levels of long-term care: independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. This talk will benefit adults planning care options for the elderly. Presented by Angie Serna Biehunko, business development director for Orchard Park.
Growing Up Wild

Come out to this nature experience! We’ll read books on different nature topics each month, followed by a fun craft or outdoor activity. Preschool aged children are welcome to attend our 10:00 a.m. session, while school aged children should attend our after-school session at 4:00 p.m. This month’s topic is worms!
Teen Comic Book Workshop

Trained volunteers from AARP prepare individual tax returns for free at the library. Appointments available and walk-ins welcome. Bring all tax-related documents, including last year’s tax return, social security cards for all dependents, and a photo ID. Make appointment at aarp.org/taxaide.
¡Porque Yo Cuento! / Because I Count!
March 14, 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Join us for a fun bilingual program for people of all ages. Children will create original artwork to enter the “Because I Count” art contest, while parents will learn about and can participate in the 2020 Census if they wish. Winners in three age divisions will be announced after April 1st - Census Day! Presented by Sirena Del Rio. People may drop in at the library anytime to receive help completing their census.
Job Search and Résumé Assistance

Applying for work? This program provides hands-on assistance with your job search, including advice on job seeking, résumé and cover letter writing, networking, and how to apply for jobs. No registration required. This service is free.

The Art of Zentangle

Learn the art of Zentangle with Lana Daniel. The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs. All materials provided.
