[ARCHIVED] San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets of the Week’ April 3

Diesel and Carson Wells are Pets of the Week

NOTE: Our need remains great to find immediate fosters and adopters for our shelter pets. Adoptions and fosters can be done remotely as our shelter is currently closed to the public.

Diesel

Some lucky human will be bringing home an awesome dog if they adopt Diesel! One look at this sweet two-year-old pup and your heart will melt. Diesel is very tolerant (our volunteers were able to get him to play dress up for pictures!) and would do well in a home with another canine pal. Volunteers say Diesel is a calm, happy boy. He’s also been with us a while – maybe you’ll be the one to turn his luck around?

Carson Wells

This little 8-pound short haired Grey-White (Patch Tabby) is very chill. He is about two years old and searching for the right family to give him a loving home. His calm demeanor would do quite well in an environment where he is the center of attention. If you’re looking for a buddy to chill with, Carson Wells is a great choice.

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. Due to the COVID-19 situation, we are operating on a modified schedule. Emails are likely the best way to contact shelter staff right now. Email foster@sanmarcostx.gov to learn more about how to become a foster. Email animalservices@sanmarcostx.gov to learn about adopting one of our awesome shelter pets.
