[ARCHIVED] Council to Consider Projects for COVID-19 Response Funds

The San Marcos City Council is seeking comments on proposed programs and projects to be added to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2019-2020 Action Plan using the newly issued $425,261 in CDBG-Coronavirus Response (CDBG-CV) funds. Comments will be accepted during a virtual public hearing at the City Council virtual meeting on Tuesday, June 2 at 6 p.m.

Since the public hearing will be conducted via virtual meeting, members of the public who would like to speak during the public hearing portion of the meeting must email prior to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2. A call-in number will be provided for participation.

City Council will vote on the proposed amendments at their June 16 meeting.

The revised draft 2019-2020 CDBG Action Plan will be available for public comment on the City’s website at from June 7 through June 13. Comments must be made in writing and should include the sender’s full name and physical address.
