Rick joined the San Marcos Fire Department in August 1986 as a firefighter trainee and has promoted thru the ranks of Engineer in 1989, Lieutenant in 1994, Captain in 2005, Battalion Chief in 2007 to his current position, Assistant Chief, which he has held since 2014. Thank you, Chief, for your 34 years of service!
Rick will now begin his retirement chapter, enjoying time with his family and friends.
