Cat of the Week: Chicken Noodle
Chicken Noodle is a quirky, playful, and independent cat. This 10-year-old domestic short hair knows how to handle herself outdoors and would be a great free-roaming cat. Chicken Noodle got her name because she loves chickens—a little too much. She would have to be in a home free of birds. Chicken Noodle is FIV+, which means that she may need a little extra medical attention, and she needs to be in a household with no other cats. But this goofy girl has plenty of life in her! Chicken Noodle would be a great match for a low-key, relaxed home.
Dog of the Week: Marsha
This sweet, affectionate 5-year-old Labrador mix is looking for a permanent lounging spot on your couch. Marsha’s favorite hobbies include cuddles, scratches behind the ears, and naps. We would say she’s pretty laid-back! Marsha has been at the shelter for over two months, even though she’s an amazing dog, because she’s quiet and doesn’t get noticed as much in the kennels. Marsha is heartworm positive, which means she will require extra time and medical attention during her treatment. Marsha would do great in a home with adults or older children.
