There may be damage to the vehicle’s driver side bumper.

Pedro Ybarra, a 54-year-old father and his 23-year-old daughter Larissa Ybarra were struck by a vehicle while crossing the Hutchison crosswalk Saturday night.

Pedro is now conscious but remains in the hospital and has begun a lengthy recovery process. The daughter has non-incapacitating injuries and has been released from the hospital.

The path of travel of the suspect is north on LBJ Dr, west on Hutchison St, south on Guadalupe St, and then west on Hopkins St.

SMPD is requesting any information or witnesses to the incident, specifically any businesses with video of the offender’s vehicle, body shops who completed repairs or an estimate for matching vehicles for collision-related damages, or any person with information about the suspect to contact police immediately.
