[ARCHIVED] Main Street Names Tantra Coffeehouse Business of the Month

Tantra Coffeehouse

The San Marcos Main Street Program has named Tantra Coffeehouse February’s Downtown Business of the Month for their investment in the downtown community, curb appeal and unique customer experience.

Since opening in 2007, Tantra has transformed the downtown community by providing a warm and vibrant atmosphere. They have a very diverse menu, including specialty coffee, craft food, beer and wine with vegan-friendly options. As one of the first outdoor music venues in San Marcos, Tantra hosts performances and various events throughout the year.

“We are more than happy to award Tantra, because they go above and beyond our expectations of a downtown business,” said Interim Main Street Manager Josie Falletta. “Not only do they offer unique food and drinks, but also provide a thriving entertainment hub in Downtown San Marcos.”

Tantra Coffeehouse is located on 217 Hopkins St, and is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
