[ARCHIVED] Take a Downtown Ice Cream Tour With “Scoops on the Square”

Enjoy an evening of family fun with the San Marcos Main Street Program at the first ever Scoops on the Square on Saturday, June 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. in historic Downtown San Marcos!

The inaugural event will feature a progressive tour of retail businesses serving a variety of ice creams. Participants will receive a commemorative mug and enjoy activities while strolling the downtown streets. All ice cream will be provided by local downtown business, Rhea’s Ice Cream, and pedicabs are available to transport attendees between stops, included in the ticket price.

“Main Street is excited to host this family-friendly event and looks forward to seeing residents and visitors alike come together for a downtown San Marcos experience,” said Interim Main Street Program Manager Josie Falletta.

Check in begins at 5 p.m. at the Hays County Historic Courthouse, 111 E San Antonio St. at the corner of Hopkins and Guadalupe. Tickets are $7.50 for Adults (13+) and $5 for Children (12 and under). Tickets are available online at www.scoopsonthesquaresmtx.com
