60+ Game Day Club

Join the San Marcos Game Day Club. This social club meets every Monday at the San Marcos Activity Center, Meeting Room 1, from 12:30-4 PM. Anyone aged 60 or above, interested in joining the Game Day Club, must register for a Game Day Club 2.0 membership by calling the Activity Center at 512-393-8280 or by visiting www.sanmarcostx.gov/activesmtx and clicking on memberships and selecting the Game Day Club 2.0. Game materials for Bridge, Mexican Train Dominoes, Hand & Foot, and 42 are provide. Refreshments will not be served or shared. Members must bring their own snacks and drinks. New members are welcome. Pre-Registration is required, same day registration is not allowed. Members, make sure you arrive on time to get in on a game!

Teen Take & Make Service Kit

Need volunteer hours for school? Want to give back to the community? Pick up a teen take & make service kit! This month we’ll be partnering with Meals on Wheels to create Christmas placemats for senior citizens. Completed service kits must be returned to the library by December 13th to receive volunteer hours. For ages 12-17.

Book Matchmaking

Let our librarians play matchmaker! Take a chance and let us set you up on a book date. If you’re lucky, you may even find your next favorite book or author! Fill out the linked form to participate. Based on your preferences we will place two books on hold for you. You must have a San Marcos Public Library card to participate.

Grinch Take & Make Craft

Pick up a Grinch craft to take home and make. Available while supplies last.

Early Literacy Playroom

Children learn through play! Families can explore hands-on activities designed to teach early literacy skills to children under 5. Walk-in appointments available Mon-Sat, 10 am until 1 hour before the library closes. Limited to one group at a time, for one hour. Disinfected daily.
