Water is a precious resource in San Marcos. It provides tourism, recreation, habitat for endangered species, and drinking water for a rapidly growing population. Preservation of this valuable natural resource is vital to thefuture of our City, and to all that live and work here. To insure this resource will beavailable in the future, each of us must strive to use water as efficiently as possible and to become water-wise consumers.
The City offers a variety of water conservation programs to help accomplish these goals. Your participation in these programs will benefit all of us.

Thank you for doing your part to preserve our most valuable natural resource.
