Legend/Layer
|
Toggles between legend and layer. These are shown to the right of your map. Legend shows what map colors and symobls mean. Layer lists available data.

Overview Map |
The overview is thumbnail window of the overall map. The overview button toggles the window on or off. Use overview to compare your map with the full extent view.

Zoom In
|
Zoom in is the default tool (Red border around the tool in the toolbar. Zoom in is used two ways: click on the map or draw a rectangle to define a new view.

Zoom Out
|
Zoom out. Zoom in is used two ways: click on the map or draw a rectangle to define a new view.

Zoom to Full
Extent |
Zoom out to the full map extent.

Zoom to Active
Layer |
Zoom in to the full extent of the active layer.

Back to
Last Extent |
Zoom back to the last map view.

Pan
|
Use to scroll the view in the graphic window. Hold the left mouse button and move the graphic by moving the mouse.

Pan
|
Click a feature to see a list of its attributes in a table below the map. This only works on the active layer in the Legend.

Hyperlinks
|
Click Hyperlinks to open any image connected to a feature. |

Measure
|
Measures distance between two points in the units specified. |

Select by
Rectangle |
Click and drag a rectangle on the map. Any features that touch the rectangle will be selected. |

Select by Line or
Polygon |
Click two points to select a line or click multiple point to draw a polygon and select the feature within it. |
 |
Clear
Selection |
Deselects any features that are selected. |

Print
|
Click print, specify a title and click 'Create Print Page' button. A new window will open and includes the legend and overview map. Click File»Print in your browser menu. |
